Booking for plasterers

A ceiling to re-skim, a room to re-plaster, a patch to make good: Soopaspace lets a customer describe the job, send a quote, take a deposit to hold the dates, and invoice the balance once the walls are done.

Free to start with your booking page, bookings and clients. Everything else is one paid plan: £9.99/month billed yearly, or £12.99 monthly.

Quote, then hold the dates

A plastering job books days, not an hour, so a customer describes the room from your page and you send a clear quote for the work. A deposit on the quote holds the dates, so a couple of days set aside for a re-skim are days that are paid toward rather than pencilled in.

  • Customers describe the room from your page
  • You send a clear quote for the work
  • A deposit holds the dates you block out
  • Days set aside that really happen

Materials covered before you start

Bags of plaster, bonding and beads add up before the first coat goes on. A deposit when the work is booked covers the materials you buy in, so you are not out of pocket for someone else’s walls while you wait on the day.

  • A deposit covers the plaster and materials
  • A bigger job can hold a bigger deposit
  • No funding the job before you start
  • The balance due when the work is done

Paid when the walls are done

When the skim is on and drying, invoice the balance and the customer pays by card from the email, with the deposit already off the total. Paid, part-paid and overdue are tracked, and a polite reminder chases the ones who forget.

  • Invoice the balance, paid by card from the email
  • The deposit comes off what is owed
  • Paid, part-paid and overdue all tracked
  • A reminder chases a late payer for you

Common questions

Can a deposit cover the plaster and materials?
Yes. You set the deposit per job, so a job that needs plaster, bonding and beads bought in can carry a larger deposit, taken by card when the customer accepts the quote. The balance is invoiced when the work is done.
How does the customer pay the balance?
By card from the invoice email once the walls are done, with the deposit already off the total. Paid, part-paid and overdue are tracked, and transfer or cash can be recorded too.
