For tilers

Booking for tilers

A bathroom, a kitchen floor, a splashback: Soopaspace lets a customer describe the job, send a quote, take a deposit to hold the dates, and invoice the balance once the grout is in.

Free to start with your booking page, bookings and clients. Everything else is one paid plan: £9.99/month billed yearly, or £12.99 monthly.

Quote, then hold the dates

A tiling job books days, not an hour, so a customer describes the room from your page and you send a clear quote for the work. A deposit on the quote holds the dates, so a week set aside for a bathroom is a week that is paid toward rather than pencilled in.

  • Customers describe the room from your page
  • You send a clear quote for the work
  • A deposit holds the dates you block out
  • Days set aside that really happen

Materials covered before you start

Tiles, adhesive, grout and trim can be a lot to lay out before a job even begins. A deposit when the work is booked covers the materials you buy in, so you are not funding someone else’s bathroom while you wait on the day.

  • A deposit covers the tiles and materials
  • A bigger job can hold a bigger deposit
  • No funding the job before you start
  • The balance due when the work is done

Paid when the grout is in

When the last tile is set and the grout is in, invoice the balance and the customer pays by card from the email, with the deposit already off the total. Paid, part-paid and overdue are tracked, and a polite reminder chases the ones who forget.

  • Invoice the balance, paid by card from the email
  • The deposit comes off what is owed
  • Paid, part-paid and overdue all tracked
  • A reminder chases a late payer for you

Common questions

Can a deposit cover the tiles and materials?
Yes. You set the deposit per job, so a job that needs tiles, adhesive and grout bought in can carry a larger deposit, taken by card when the customer accepts the quote. The balance is invoiced when the work is done.
How does the customer pay the balance?
By card from the invoice email once the job is done, with the deposit already off the total. Paid, part-paid and overdue are tracked, and transfer or cash can be recorded too.
