For roofers

Booking for roofers

A slipped tile, a ridge to re-bed, a roof to re-tile: Soopaspace lets a customer describe the job, send a quote, take a deposit to hold the day, and invoice the balance once the scaffold comes down.

Free to start with your booking page, bookings and clients. Everything else is one paid plan: £9.99/month billed yearly, or £12.99 monthly.

Quote, then hold the day

A roofing job is priced off the roof, not a list, so a customer describes the work from your page and you send a clear quote. A deposit on the quote holds the day, so time set aside for a re-tile, with the scaffold booked around it, is paid toward rather than pencilled in.

  • Customers describe the roof from your page
  • You send a clear quote for the work
  • A deposit holds the day you set aside
  • Time blocked out that really happens

Materials covered before you start

Tiles, felt, battens and lead can be a lot to lay out before you are up the ladder, and a scaffold often has to be booked in too. A deposit when the work is booked covers what you buy in, so you are not funding someone else’s roof while you wait on the day.

  • A deposit covers the tiles and materials
  • A bigger job can hold a bigger deposit
  • No funding the job before you start
  • The balance due when the work is done

Paid when the scaffold comes down

When the last tile is bedded and the ridge is pointed, invoice the balance and the customer pays by card from the email, with the deposit already off the total. Paid, part-paid and overdue are tracked, and a polite reminder chases the ones who forget.

  • Invoice the balance, paid by card from the email
  • The deposit comes off what is owed
  • Paid, part-paid and overdue all tracked
  • A reminder chases a late payer for you

Common questions

Can a deposit cover the tiles and materials?
Yes. You set the deposit per job, so a job that needs tiles, felt, battens or lead bought in, or a scaffold booked around it, can carry a larger deposit, taken by card when the customer accepts the quote. The balance is invoiced when the work is done.
How does the customer pay the balance?
By card from the invoice email once the job is done, with the deposit already off the total. Paid, part-paid and overdue are tracked, and transfer or cash can be recorded too.
