A deposit before you start
Blocking a week for a big writing project is a lot to do on trust. Soopaspace takes a card deposit when the work is booked, so your time is held and paid toward before you begin.
Free to start with your booking page, bookings and clients. Everything else is one paid plan: £9.99/month billed yearly, or £12.99 monthly.
How it looks
A £15.00 deposit is taken now by card. The remaining £35.00 is paid on the day.

Your time, held and paid toward
Set a deposit on a project, taken by card when it is booked, with the balance due on delivery. A bigger piece can carry a bigger deposit, so the more time you are holding, the more is secured before you start.
- A card deposit when the project is booked
- Bigger projects can hold a bigger deposit
- Your time held before you begin
- The balance due on delivery
The clients who book are the clients who commit
When a client has paid toward the work, the project is real, not a maybe. The deposit comes off the total, so they only owe the balance, settled by card from an invoice when the writing is delivered.
- Money toward the work means real commitment
- The deposit comes off the total
- The balance settled by card
- No week held for a job that goes quiet

Common questions
- How much deposit can I ask for?
- You set it per project, as a fixed amount, taken by card when the work is booked. The balance is invoiced on delivery.
- Does the deposit come off the price?
- Yes. It counts toward the total, so the client only owes the balance, which is invoiced and paid by card when the writing is delivered.
