A wedding is booked a year out, and that date is one you cannot double-book or lose to a change of heart. Soopaspace takes a deposit by card when the booking is made, so a held date is a committed one.

- Can I take a deposit for a date a year away?
- Yes. The deposit is taken by card when the booking is made and holds the date however far ahead it is, with the balance due nearer the time.
- What if the client cancels after paying a deposit?
- The deposit is taken at booking and recorded against the shoot, so a date held far ahead is paid toward rather than held on trust. Your own terms decide what happens to it on a cancellation.
