Set a deposit on the job, taken by card when the customer books or accepts a quote, with the balance due on completion. A bigger wash that takes a full day with the kit and the water can carry a bigger deposit, so a cancellation does not leave you out of pocket.

- Yes. You decide which jobs carry a deposit and how much, so a quick path can take nothing and a full-day wash carries more, each taken by card when the customer books.
- What if the day moves for the weather?
- The deposit holds the booking and counts toward the total. If the day moves, the job moves with its deposit, and the balance is invoiced when the work is done.
