Let clients pay your invoice by card, in a couple of taps
A bank transfer means your client finding your details, opening their banking app and typing a reference. A card button means two taps. Soopaspace puts a Pay by card button on your invoices and quotes, backed by your own Stripe account.
Free to start. Paid plan: £9.99/month billed yearly, or £12.99 monthly, with every core feature included.
How it works
Connect your Stripe account once, from inside Soopaspace. Then tick “Let them pay by card” on any invoice or quote and it carries a secure Pay by card button.
Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account
The invoice marks itself paid when the money arrives, with no checking your bank
An invoice’s link stays open for a year, so a slow payer can still use it
A deposit you have already received comes off what the card is charged
Your bank details stay on the invoice for clients who prefer a transfer
Bigger jobs, paid before you start
For larger work, send the quote with card payment switched on. A client who says yes can pay there and then, so the money is in before you buy materials or block out the days.
Reminders carry the button too
If a payment is late, a reminder can include the same Pay by card button, so the easiest way to settle up is right there in the email.
Common questions
Who holds the money?
Your own Stripe account. Payments go to you directly, and Soopaspace never holds your clients’ money.
What does it cost?
Stripe charges its standard fee on each card payment. There is nothing extra to set up beyond connecting your Stripe account.
How long does a payment link last?
On an invoice, a year. On a quote, until the date the quote is valid until.
Do I have to offer card payment on every invoice?
No. It is a tick box on each invoice or quote, so you choose where it makes sense.
