Ask for a deposit by card the moment a pupil books, with the rest settled your usual way. It is most useful for a trial with someone new or a one-off, and you choose which lessons ask for one.

- Do I have to take a deposit on every lesson?
- No. Deposits are set per service, so you can ask for one on a trial or a one-off and leave your regular pupils as a straightforward booking.
- What if a pupil needs to move a paid lesson?
- As long as they move it within the notice period you set, the lesson and its deposit carry over to the new time rather than being lost.
